Russ Pierson joined Aspect Health in 2023 from Welltower, Inc. a global healthcare REIT (ticker: WELL). At Welltower, Russ worked on the US investment team where he closed over $6 billion of transaction volume. In his time at Welltower, Russ primarily invested in medical office assets across the spectrum from development projects to value add and core investments. In addition to medical office acquisitions, Russ also participated in a diverse array of seniors housing and multifamily transactions.

Russ is a passionate capital allocator and a great admirer of the value investing investment framework pioneered by Ben Graham.

Russ is a graduate of Trinity College and is a voracious reader and a lifelong learner. Russ’s goal is to support the creation of world class healthcare settings which support both provider success and patient experience.
